Respect for The Aged day at Torstraße

Respect for the Aged Day (Keiro no Hi)

15. September 2025 , 12 p.m.

There is a special holiday that we would love to celebrate with you at our Sticks’n’Sushi restaurant on Torstraße: Japan’s “Respect for the Aged Day” (Keiro no Hi). This day honors the life experience and contributions of the older generation to society – an occasion we wish to celebrate in a culinary way.

Sticks’n’Sushi combines Japanese precision with Danish conviviality – and it is exactly this blend that is reflected in our special event: On September 15th, 2025 at 12 p.m., we invite you to enjoy a selected menu including a drink (house wine, beer, or soft drink). The meal will be served at a langbord – a long table where our guests come together, share experiences, and enjoy each other’s company.

You can choose between the following two menus (including a drink, each for €20):

Menu 1:

  • Bites: Miso soup, Kinoko Korokke (mushroom croquette), Cauliflower

  • Maki: Nanban (sushi with grilled chicken)

  • Sticks: Shake Teriyaki (grilled salmon with spring onions)

Menu 2:

  • Bites: Shake Tataki (salmon with roe and radish)

  • Maki: Spicy Tuna, Pink Alaska (spicy tuna, salmon, avocado & cream cheese)

  • Nigiri: Shake (salmon)

  • Sticks: Shake Teriyaki (grilled salmon with spring onions)

As even the longest table offers only limited seating, we kindly ask you to reserve your place in advance via OpenTable.

Participation is exclusively reserved for guests aged 65 and above – accompanying caregivers are, of course, warmly welcome as well.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to this special occasion!
